As the Vice President of Global Human Resources, you will take the lead on building and promoting programs and fostering an environment that will enhance the capabilities of our people to ultimately impact and shape a growing and successful business.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Vice President of Global HR, you are responsible for the overall Human Resources administration. You will lead all functional areas including Recruitment, Staffing, L&D, HRIS, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Employee Relations, security and facilities. As a hands- on strategic thinker, we will look to you to understand how to develop human capital, instill strong cultural values and manage year after year growth. We see a successful executive leader in this role having strong analytical skills, who recognizes changing market dynamics and can execute an effective and innovative HR strategy as those dynamics change.

You will bring leadership and expertise for our growing company, providing guidance for departmental growth with an eye toward efficiency and corporate responsibility.

● Serve as the primary point for employee relations issues; ensure a balanced role as both employee advocate and management counsel

● Lead and develop our global people team of 25+ who focus on our workplace environment and engagement, business partnerships, recruiting, learning and development, and people policies and compliance

● Drive, foster, and promote programs that create an environment where employees thrive and can be their best

● Build relationships and partner closely with each studio to be a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic decisions

● Define and shape our core organizational metrics and drive achievement against those using a data driven approach; develop regular reports and metrics

● Be responsible for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

● Oversee the coordinating with Office Managers to deliver and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees


● Develop philosophies and strategies around compensation, reward and recognition

programs, benefits, learning and development and drive execution through the people

team

● Set our strategy and approach to hiring and retaining top talent, focusing on our brand internally and externally

● In partnership with leaders, assist in the development and implementation of global workforce planning and strategies

● Drive employee engagement through the refinement and enhancement of the culture.

● Protect the interests of the business in accordance with the policies and appropriate governmental laws and regulations

● Creative and innovative problem solver

● Partner with management to identify high performers to understand and evaluate

retention techniques and career development opportunities; partner as well on lower

performing employees to develop performance improvement or exit strategies

● Manage and develops the annual budget for the HR Department

● Provide compensation consultation and maintains the current compensation strategy in

coordination with CFO and Hiring Managers

● Develop, directs and monitors benefit packages such as compensation, health insurance,

vacation time, PTO, and FMLA

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The following will be important to continue the development of the company’s culture and aptitude for success.

● Have 10+ years People experience with 5+ years leading People teams

● Operate with a people centric focus and see business success as employee success

● Possess the ability to interpret business, people and operational needs and develop

creative solutions to meet those needs

● Have a strong track record of success and understand the nuances involved in all the

different pillars of the people team and how to build a cohesive strategy where they

work together seamlessly

● Can partner and influence at all levels of the organization and are an excellent

communicator

● Must be resilient, adaptable, persuasive, positive, ethical, and possess a can-do attitude

● Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion

● Experience creating an approachable, easily accessible, and “people focused” HR

environment.

● Are up to date on best practices and trends in a creative industry.

● Have worked at a creative company, have experience supporting multiple creative-types

and appreciate the strong focus on culture that exists in this environment.

● Are proactive in your decision making and able to balance driving initiatives forward

quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail.

● Have a BA/BS degree required, Master’s degree or related certifications a plus.
