The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing daily support to the company.
Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of HR policies, processes and programs including learning & development, performance management, professional development, employee recognition, employee relations and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and develop the HR function. Effectively envision, develop and implement new strategies to address competitive and complex business issues and have proven ability to build and maintain effective and trusting relationships at all level
Responsibilities may include:
Drive the process of translating the business strategy within the organization into specific HR action plans
Oversee the management of employee relations issues and ensure that company policies and processes are maintained in accordance with the requirements of all applicable regulatory bodies
Provide advice and support to the business leaders and managers to make informed HR decisions consistent with business objectives and within the legal framework
Monitor and seek ongoing feedback from internal clients to ensure that HR services, programs and processes are effectively meeting business needs and keep informed about developments in the HR world to ensure that the innovative and forward thinking solutions are proposed
Drive organization wide HR programs including performance management and improvement, employee recognition and training initiatives
Take the lead as and when requested of HR in HR Projects and initiatives as required and ensure the timescales and objectives are understood and then delivered on
Bachelors Degree in HR, OD or Business Management
8-10 years progressive experience in Human Resources or other related function
2-3 years experience in Human Resources Management role
