Job Description

Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop the strategic marketing and growth vision for the company, as it relates to the brand, market positioning, messaging, lead generation and retention
  • Create and communicate a distinctive, clear, consistent, and engaging message that reinforces the company’s brand identity and value proposition
  • Manage the content and cadence of all outbound communications and all promotional initiatives including websites, social media, blogs, trade shows, paid media, sales support materials and client/sales messaging to ensure they’re consistent with the brand
  • Lead the development of creative campaigns and programs that drive brand awareness and market share growth
  • Managing outside agency relationships and projects
  • Set annual budget and analyze and report on the ROI of all initiatives

Requirements:

  • Five years of professional experience in a marketing and communications leadership role within an agency, publisher, or consumer brand
  • Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics to meet organizational objectives
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Thorough understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles and tactics through multimedia, with a focus on digital, social, and mobile
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with customers, customer evangelism, and customer-focused product development and outreach
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical and business concepts in clear language
  • Proven ability to be highly productive, with the ability to motivate others, in a fast paced evolving environment with competing demands
