Job Description

Key responsibilities:
Manage multiple, concurrent searches - full cycle (source, engage, qualify, offer negotiations, etc)
Proactively seek out passive, top-tier talent leveraging creative sourcing techniques and strategies
Partner with hiring managers to define the role and draft industry-differentiating job descriptions and pitch materials
Collaborate with managers and internal hiring teams to ensure speedy and effective search cycles
Establish and maintain long term relationships within the engineering community
Continuously seek ways to help improve the candidate experience and the overall recruitment and selection process - practice contribution
Evangelize the Client in the technical community
Develop a deep understanding of our key business drivers and unique challenges and address those through strategic hiring
On an as-needed basis, attend job fairs/recruiting events, plan meet-ups
On an as-needed basis manage non-technical searches

Desired Skills and Experience:
Dynamic communication skills; a natural ability to quickly build rapport (in person and via email and phone)
Effective at managing multiple, concurrent searches and priorities simultaneously
Creative prospecting skills; adept at seeking out passive, hard-to-find talent without relying on databases or job boards
Independent and collaborative; a roll-up-your your sleeves mentality
Balanced – someone both discerning and strategic who will work with a sense of urgency while still maintaining a high standard of quality
Adept at learning new technologies quickly and conversing credibly with technical audiences
Adaptable; proven ability to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, highly nimble environment
Integrity and a strong work ethic are a must
Technical recruiting experience is a must (experience with software and or databases is a plus)
Prior startup experience
Proven track record scaling engineering/product teams
