Product managers participate in and help drive all stages of the initiative’s life cycle, including: ideation, user experience and design, requirements / use case development, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support.
Develop and prioritize a product roadmap based on timing and resource availability.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product and features on time and on budget.
Estimate the expected financial impacts of new products or features to formulate business cases that justify the required investment in each initiative.
Create use cases and detailed product requirements documents to articulate desired product features and functionality to the user experience and technology teams.
Interact with development to support coding, testing, and release of the product.
Collaborate closely with technical team and user-experience designers to ensure that the product solution meets business needs and the solution delivers according to the requirements.
Collaborate cross-organizationally with sales, marketing, customer support, operations, risk management, and other functional areas to manage all aspects of new product and service roll-out.
Define and implement strategies for measuring and reporting adoption, usage and growth.
Work closely with a team of marketing product managers to help formulate marking plans that work with currently available and future product features.
Conduct market and competitive research to identify new product and feature opportunities that can drive incremental usage and/or profit.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience with prior product management experience.
Demonstrated track record managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy development, requirements definition, product marketing, implementation, and closely monitoring the business metrics.
Demonstrated track record of developing innovative solutions that delivered business results.
Demonstrated ability to create effective market requirements documents, use cases, and product requirements documents is essential.
Strong strategic thinker, with an ability to develop data-driven product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
Ability to work under tight timelines and with limited oversight
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills.
Skilled at leading cross functional groups within matrix organizations.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and analytical oriented environment with lots of change.
MBA a plus. A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field required
Experience with credit products and ecommerce a plus.
Strong technology background and ability to drive development.
